.au: happy birthday candace!

candace's birthday was celebrated in style: the night before, hunter and i gathered a small pile of gifts, including a battery-powered chinese cat with an arm doing a 'miss america' wave from hunter, that night we went to see a dance benefit with some amazing performances at the sydney theatre (including an intense performance of a traditional aboriginal dance by the Bangarra dance company), and the next night candace and hunter went to dinner and the ballet at the sydney opera house (alas, i stayed home with vertigo.)
