.vn: On the beach

Sandy Beach was what you envision as tropical paradise - beautiful setting, fairly deserted, cottages on the beach where you can hear the roar of the ocean. Since it is also winter in Vietnam, it was a bit chilly for playing in the ocean, but great for relaxing, listening to the waves crash, and eating delectable Vietnamese food.



Across the road was Marble Mountain - now I know where all the Buddhas and animals adorning the temples are made! More marble statues than I have ever seen were concentrated along one street.
